Eric Bisignano, CPA
Founder 🤓 🍕 🎼
After spending about 9 years as a federal auditor, Eric began pursuing Charitax full time in January 2014. He built the company for 4 years while still working full-time and finally stepped out of the safety net of a salary into the world of entrepreneurship. Eric works with individuals, businesses, and nonprofits on tax and accounting. Eric specializes in working with creative business owners (designers, photographers, film makers, wedding coordinators, artists), service businesses, and clergy taxes. And for new solopreneurs, Eric has the heart of a teacher and will help you gain confidence in your new business.
In addition to Charitax, Eric serves as Treasurer on the board of directors of Gahanna Residents In Need (GRIN).
Eric lives just outside of Columbus, Ohio with his wife, Jill, and 6 amazing kids. He enjoys reading, listening to podcasts, playing euchre and other games, making pizza, and playing piano. Eric earned a B.S. in Business Administration from Heidelberg University in Tiffin, Ohio, and a Master’s Certificate in Project Management from The George Washington University in Washington, D.C. He is a licensed CPA in Ohio, but works with clients from coast to coast. Let's talk!

The reality is that Jill is the COO of Charitax, and has been keeping the business organized since the beginning! A compulsive list-maker and organization ninja, Jill graduated from Heidelberg University in Tiffin, Ohio with a B.A. in Early Childhood Education and Special Education.
In her words, she is ever so happily married to her high school sweetheart and a mom of six sweet and crazy kids! Some of her favorite things include coffee (black - no cream or sugar!) and cuddling up with a book if she has a spare hour. Her favorite thing to do on a Friday night is have friends over for dinner and laid-back hang out time.
